I read that earlier today on CBR.  A film I'm definitely going to look forward to.

I especially like them using the 60s team.

I would like to see the First Class team crossover with Singer's X-Men team.

hm

If Wolverine isn't in it then I would say his creative movie genuis will be just as good as he did on Superman 2.5. lol

I know he is just the producer, but I am not convinced this is going to work out.

If there is no sentinels and old wolverine this just a complete waste of time.

I think they have to get Wolverine in the sequel 2c

Wolverine must get hunted by sentinels. :taptaptap:

Anything else will just be stupid.

That series could have stopped with the cover of 141 and it would have still been one of the greatest. That cover just tells the whole story and if you were reading the book back then when that came out, it just blew you the * away.

There's a great faked movie poster out there for this movie, too

I guess someone will start a speculative thread on xmen books now

There are too many HG CGC copies of 141 and 142 out there.

Very unlikely to see any big jump.

I really think this movie however is NOT going to give us anything like those issues.

Since Bryan Overrated Singer is involved I already have it set in my mind this movie will blows balls.

Feel free to rant. :D I have my doubts, too, and I'm rather hoping they go a different direction from the classic story.

Not even that horrid poster can ruin my love for that era of X-MEN.

will take many of its cues from Chris Claremont and john Byrne’s comics.

It's about flippin' time!! They should've done that with the first series of movies!

I thought X-Men & X2 were great (X2 being better of the Singer movies)

Singer screwed up Superman Returns big time :P

I'm glad Nolan is producing Man of Steel.

Are there really so many people who think that the X Men are such a weak concept that they are nothing without Wolverine? Really?

Yes he is a great character (though he has appeared in many, many mediocre appearances over the years) but the X Men are a lot more than Wolverine and a bunch of guys.
