Barenaked Ladies, One Week.

Hold it now and watch the hoodwink

As I make you stop, think

You'll think you're looking at Aquaman

In the early 1950's Ewan MacColl wrote a song about two kids, the

younger had a gun and killed a cop. He was to young to die but the

older one was old enough and was hanged. If I remember correctly, it

is on his album "bad Lads and Hard Cases."

The chorus was:

"It was guns and comics, films of war,

that made their education."

"Captain America's been torn apart

Now he's a court jester

with a broken heart

He said-

Turn me around and

take me back to the start

I must be losin' my mind-

"Are you blind?"

I've seen it all a million times"

When this came out I thought it was cool that Axl (or whoever wrote the lyrics) was reading Cap's stories with USAgent taking over for two years while Rogers was simply "The Captain".
