It was overvalued to begin with. The show is losing steam as well. Still one sale is not enough to measure the true validity of the market.

Don't know if this has been discussed...but yesterday a 9.9 copy ended fur just a little over $3,000

i've got to believe that's a bogus auction. that being said, the # of 9.8's (or better) has nearly doubled (750+ and counting) since this thread began. it's pretty amazing prices have held in as well as they have.

Overall, The Walking Dead is enjoying a 12 percent bump in ratings this season — an impressive feat for a show in its fifth season and even more evidence to support AMC's decision to explore a spin-off series.

I would strongly suggest you take a course in reading comprehension. Where did I say anything about the ratings? I was referring to the story and it appears a lot of people and critics agree with me; starting with its downfall several years ago. If you like it you are welcome to disagree. When responding try to understand that not everyone has an agenda. I had high hopes for this season, but sadly I no longer watch. I can say the same about this season of American Horror Story. Would you like to attack me on that subject as well?

I guess I disagree with the "critics" then that the Walking Dead is losing steam. I feel like I hear of more and more people checking it out that wouldn't have before. The Season Premiere beat out Sunday Night Football in viewers. What's great is I think the best is yet to come. :headbang: For everyone that complains about TWD TV Show, I don't know what they expect to see. Is it they're just not horror fans? Or maybe the opposite is true and they are over the top horror fans and want to see gore and guts every week? (shrug)

 

It's a story of survival in a world after the Zombie Apocalypse. It's everything that I had expected and hoped for and I enjoy it every week.

Just my opinion. Season 5 was waaaay better than the previous two. Just saw the last episode last night. Amazing.

Not to suggest that it's not possible, but Its more difficult for me to envision this mass WD hysteria gone tomorrow than not.

 

100% agree. I think it's the best season so far.
