Quality Time - Have a Cigar!

I will say this about Quality. Covers (as a whole) are just OK, the interior art is usually excellent. But the stories are over all pretty boring to me. Now the Spirit is an exception, as I would say maybe Plastic Man. Stories and art are just off the hook. To be fair though, most GA "men in tights" books are pretty standard. Maybe I'm just jaded because I've been reading funny books for 50 years...

If Quality books had Fox covers they would be more valuable than Timelys.

Particularly if they were as scarce as MLJs. :)

Definitely Plastic Man.

I see your point about the men-in-tights, quite a few of the Quality characters just blend together.

I will give the top no PRIZE which won't be a CENTAUR even a dollar to whomever can tell me who starred in that movie Ben-Hur. Here's a hint...he delivered a DYNAMIC performance and his name may even lead to another publisher?

Ramon Novarro or Francis X. bushman? (:

I know it can't be Charlton Heston, cuz his acting was about as dynamic as a wooden prop chariot. :baiting:

Adding to the Quality of this thread, with a red bee, a green fish, yellow arm floaties, and pink bubbles. Lots of pink bubbles.

Not exactly the Mile High. Maybe more like Fifty-Feet High?

Happy that I fine-ly had time to post this. :)
