Express with Label

Rcvd/SFG     24 Mar

GEI               31 MAr

G/QC            15 April

So a label took 2 weeks to go from GEI to G/QC while my modern prescreen with no label went from GEI to GQ/C in 2 days. Did not realize a label added that much to the TAT.

WOW! That is crazy that it takes them almost 2 weeks TAT on a custom label.

My Bagley are also at ccs still, I want to say it's been only three weeks, although I'm hoping for soon!

What date are regular economy books starting to be shipped?

Think folks still just receiving VALUE subs coming out of CCS around August. I've only received Economy if they were fast track.
Some other TATs though:

13x MODERN, no other services
Delivered: 12/6
Rcvd: 12/10
SFG: 12/10
G/E/I: 4/5
QC: 4/6
Shipped: 4/7
Charged: 2/16

7x Fast Track MODERN, no other services
Delivered: 4/7
Rcvd: 4/11
SFG: 4/11
G/E/I: 4/12
QC: 4/13
Shipped: 4/14
Charged: 4/11

^That Fast Track was absolutely warp speed. From door to door, had them back in hand inside of two weeks.

I just sent in a CBCS book to CBCS for reholding and it took them all of 2 weeks to get it out the door and on its way back to me. Quick updates at every step. Good first impression.

Their other time frames are long like CGC, but they seem on par with CGC or better in a couple of areas, so I don't understand why people look down on them. Like newton rings. It seems newton rings are not an issue for CBCS. Unless I keep my CGC slabs in a box, they always develop newton rings, with some taking up several inches of space.

I got these back a month or so ago, same submission.  Nothing seems amiss other than they should all be 9.8's!  No...I think they were graded more or less fairly, if a little on the tight side.

I have an Uncanny X-men 221 that looks like a 8.5 to 9.0, but came back a 9.6. It's clearly not a 9.6. I also have 2 other issues that have zero defects, but came back 9.6. For the most part, their grading is good, but it is annoying that there is room for error with 9.0+. Those are the easiest to grade, in my opinion.

It seems like Fast Track is the way to go if you are willing to spend that extra $13 (Elite) - $15 (Premium).

I have 20 Modern/FT right now sitting at G/E/I since 4/15, which they did receive the entire order on 4/12.

I also have 1 walkthrough which has had the same dates/steps as my 20 Modern/FT, but that one now is at G/QC as of this morning.

I plan to send another batch of books tomorrow or Thursday, depending on how well my ASM 238 comes out of the press tonight.

I'm envious. My modern fast track has been sitting for almost three weeks and is still waiting to be opened/entered into SFG.

**edit - just realized I was using the shipped date on my end rather than the date it was received. Still about two weeks though

I did cheat. They used to have instructions to mark outside of box FT for Fast Track. No longer noted on such submission instructions but I still mark packages FT. They respected it and got mine checked in pronto...the other slow Modern sub that went in same box is chilling on back burner waiting to be checked in still ::shrug::

One of the two slow modern 12/6 submissions just shipped.

Best case scenario was 23 - 9.8's and 2 - 9.6's. Got back 14 - 9.8's, 5 - 9.6's, 5 - 9.4's and 1 - 9.2. No grader notes.

Honestly, after only getting 3 of 43 books graded as 9.8's with my last 2 submissions, I'll take these results.

Just got back my other 12/6 submission and the results weren't what I expected. Only 8 - 9.8's, 12 - 9.6's, 3 - 9.4's, 1 - 9.2 and 1 - 9.0.

Upon closer inspection, at least 7 or 8 books have no noticeable flaws and would've likely received a 9.8 grade another day.

Some graders continue to be tough on 80's and 90's books that don't have perfectly flat spines.

7 books had grader notes, which made sense upon closer inspection.

Sent in another submission Modern Fast Track submission and it was delivered, open, and graded within 15 business days.  Also recently had a pre-screen from February move to GEI before a non prescreen.  I think I saw other people say presceen is moving faster than slow boat.

I have noticed that too that Bronze and Copper books are so hard to get a 9.8.
