Thanks Rick, seems about right to me too. What about v1 n2 & #23, I always thought these were tough to aquire. I don't see them for sale hardly ever. I think the last #2 I ever saw was that Church copy you picked up!!!???!!! (shrug)

good point again... my position is "biased" as I stop looking for a copy once I have it...so, that might very well be my position on the 1/2 and the 23...they are tough, indeed!

As for Timelys, Marvel Mystery 2, Mystic comics 2 , 4, Daring Mystery 4, and maybe Red Raven comics ( I barely seen it around), USA comics 2-5 maybe (well I dont see them that often any more), maybe a # 2 some months ago but thats it.

Some of the harder to find Timelys are actually later numbers, though most every Timely superhero is available (widely so in comparison to the early D.C.s and Centaurs mentioned previously in this thread).

From my experience some of the harder to find issues, in no particular order...

Daring 2

USA 11

Sub-Mariner 31

Mystic 4

But you should also consider the early Timely funny animal books.

Try to put together a run of Terry-Toons 2 - 10. Comedy 11 and 12 have some crossover and are incredibly tough to locate. And there have been threads about Millie the Model 2.

Sub-Mariner 31

just because Vern owns like 47 copies, doesn't mean that it is not rare :baiting:

I don't care whether it's rare or not, I hate the cover.
