I am really disappointed by the DC cinematic universe. In my opinion, they have stories and characters that can be just as interesting than the MCU characters and stories but they consistently fail at this. My opinion is that it comes down to the influence of Frank Miller and Zack Snyder. Miller's Dark Knight may have been successful but it was an anomaly in the DC universe. DC's characters do not react well to the "dark" treatment and shouldn't be manhandled that way. Just because it worked for Batman doesn't mean every other character should be treated the same way. Even Batman shouldn't be treated that way every time. The "Dark Knight" is as distinct from "Batman" as "Old Man Logan" is from "Wolverine". They may as well be in different universes. I would love to see a Justice Society of America that captured the teenage optimism of the comic, not the angst of seemingly every other superhero project lately. Either the tentacled beast was misidentified in the rumor mill or more than one tentacled beast will show up in DD&MoM. I'd place my bets on the first scenario. Also, not sure I understand the What If 18 rush. Those buying are not very well informed as what they are speculating on is a direct result of the What If animated series on Disney+, not that What If 18 storyline. Marvel Premiere 10 is still going crazy, I kinda thought Submariner 13 might of lost the court case of public opinion on this one.

No one seemed to care about Anti-M during COIE when seen on every WB show. Now they will? IMHO lame character with an even more lame look. Featuring Anti-M as a cinematic main villian says to the world we cant compete with Marvel so we wont even bother to try. Looking for an undervalued original Crisis; 3,10,12 i feel fit the bill. Classic covers on two of them and 3 is the most difficult of the series to score a 9.8. All my opinion of course.

I guess a big part of what drove me to buying this was that it was Newsstand when almost every copy I see is direct. As mentioned previously, issue 6 is a bigger draw but I love the whole story. I would call only one Crisis cover classic (#7), maybe two (#8). What is the appeal of 3, 10 and 12? Are they first appearances? None of the issues look pricey in 9.8 in GPA. Sadly there will be demand increase for his prime covers in the next 1-2 years Btw i said undervalued. Which the gpa proves. To me at least 1,7,10 and 12 are classic covers.
