Hookers and coke?

5% of $1500  is $75. The quality of either for that amount is horrid

I'm easy. I'd like to go out like Al Bundy.

As a Brit ( and I know we all have different senses of humour)  Married with children was the funniest American comedy show ever IMHO.

It might be coming back in an animated version, with the original cast.

Getting this back on track, I am seeing increased demand for ASM #130-200 this spring at shows. The non-#194 key/1st app issues have started to pop a bit already looking at GPA, and most issues are moving up across the board. It will be interesting to see how high #149 will go based on the early reception to Ben Reilly as a villain now.

60 days ago in March's Iron Man he was portrayed as hero.... At this point not sure why the character/property should have any fans as he's portrayed 180 degrees differently at the drop of a hat.

Battlestar Galactica #1 - Late least year the regular/standard edition CGC 9.8W was around $100, the Whitman 3-Pack Distributed w/diamond price area + blank UPC was $150-$200. I see now the standard is going for $410-$430. They are all from same seller which gives me some cause for pause but the CGC certs numbers were different

The book has the Census Pop sweet spot numbers Speculators and Flippers love. Enough high grade supply to easily manipulate, but not enough that the book is everywhere.

Wish I had held out for a copy with a perfect wrap of the classic Cockrum cover but I got negotiated a nice deal on this one in 2021 when book was cold, so no complaints.

P.S. My avatar on this forum was taken from a Galactica #1 cover scan but in my case the image is a nod to Avengers 181.

The switch from Sal Buscema to Frank Robbins on "Captain America and the Falcon" was quite the shock to my 10-year old eyes at the time. :whatthe:

I'm sure there are lots of things to criticize in the art, but at first glance I would say 90% of why it looks so awful is the faces, especially the eyes.

THAT's a lot of books!!! (most of which I believe have left my boxes already). I suppose if you want them all, you have to start somewhere.

Looks like krap so yeah I'm dissin' it . :kidaround:

CGC costs at all-time highs and rising and they have NO interest in resolving a CHRONIC issue that does not seem to affect their competitors.  While I did get stuck with a few I refuse to purchase any CGC slabs with Newton rings, something that has become exceedingly more difficult due to their proliferation.

My parents are named Al & Peg. I guess that makes me Kelly, because between the two of us my brother is definitely more Bud than I!

And another piece of the puzzle falls into place
