Already at $450, still 19 days to go. :insane:

WTF?

Speculation on GOTG team expansion? That's not even the same Quasar that was in the GOTG/Annihilation books

Does that matter to anyone in the Speculation Age?

Marvel Super-heroes #18 went up in value when GOTG was released and that original team had nothing to do with the team featured in the movie. So, no, it doesn't seem to matter.

Agreed, I always ask the same question and then end up backtracking and using that analogy.

That being said, have you ever tried to find Cap 217 in the wild? It's been on peoples lists for about 2 years. I have only found one between my local shops and some shows. Granted, I'm not actively seeking it out, but it's one of the ones I look for when I see Cap runs.

Is the original Quasar still around in some other form?

No he's dead, Phyla-Vell has his quantum-bands and became Quasar, and then Martyr.

Captain Marvel vol 5 #16-17 are the books to chase for her

Nope.

And if you try to educate anyone, you're savaged as a "know-it-all" who "talks down your nose at everyone."

Because, of course, everyone has an equal amount of knowledge, and no one needs to be taught anything, and God help you if you correct anyone's inaccurate statements about anything.

Branget is right: people are only interested in being right, not knowledge and understanding.

Ka-ching, ka-ching, let those cash registers ring!

I'm assuming you are talking Captain America 217 in uber high grade. Because when it comes to U.S. comics, and specifically Marvel and DC, any issue is fairly easy to find, if you have the money for it. Now, if you are talking uber high grade, that is different.
