I thought maybe a newsstand edition but it's not. What am I missing

Me personally, no, but I can see why someone would to say decent chunk of change.

 

I really have to open my copy of ASM 238 to see if it had the tattooz or not.

ASM 300 9.8's are closing in on $800. That is incredible to me. Someone in the selling section sold 2 of them for $750 in a couple of days. I sold my last one for $775 on eBay in less than a day.

ASM 300 and NM 98 are two of the most interesting books to watch IMO. Amazing the prices they command.

Then they levelled out at 600-700. Lately, they've been creeping again.

You can't get one for under $750, recently. . And I think it's the SS ones that are selling over $1000, now.

Imagine if they grade a 10.0.

I think that would beat the 10.0 of NM98.

Well.. "It looks like a 10.0." Of course it sold for a grand, based on this revelation. That, despite the lack of a back cover shot, and 2 small spine stresses on the front. A really nice 9.8, though.
