I landed the following today:

 

#1 (2nd) - 2 copies

#2 (1st) - 2 copies

#3 - 2 copies

#4 - 2 copies

 

Another store had two more copies of #2 (1st) in FN/VF and VF condition that I passed on. Is it worth snagging them?

 

 

Why don't you give me the name of the store and I will tell you in a few days if they are worth getting?

I cleaned out 2 of the newbury comics norwood (#1 1st print) and bellingham had none already and 2 new england comics, brockton and quincy so avoid them. got all their stock of Watson and Homes also ( scored 15 between the stores).

I have 2 copies of #1! I wasn't a huge fan and never added it to my pull list but its cool that its worth something now.

I liked it, but was not buying as much as I am now, money got tight so it got cut. Now they are just extras. Was going to sell them originally, then forgot about them. Now to hold so to not leave money on the table or cash out for a nice profit.....

I got # 1 with a print error shipping scar....is that still nm for 8 bucks, and the same for a couple of 2s....figure that's a pretty good deal?

 

Look it's a franchise, and it's going to get big but keep going for a long time...I think it's not a comic to sell right now...

Me too. Well, not gave away, but sold at a giveaway price considering current sale prices. First print TUKOE #1 & #2 both NM/MT in a mystery box sale that was dirt cheap. Amazing Spider-man #606 & #607 were also in that lot. 100 comics for $1 a piece in a bulk sale. Some people really miss out on my modern drek sales.

 

Fortunately, I did have a spare set in my "to be bagged and boarded" pile of comics. Which I will not be selling for a $1 a piece.

I can feel your pain gents.....I do a lot of preordering on books and I end up giving away a lot when I sell books as freebies. I gave a ton of these away as I really liked the book and didn't ever think of a movie, I just wanted others to read it because I thought it was a really fun book at a time when most books today are dark. I do have 4 left though , out of a 20 preorder. Oh we'll like you said, it all works Out in the end........Karma can work in funny ways....
