I've wasted all my time with calisthenics. I can do a gazillion push-ups and pull-ups, but my max lifts suck.

Not enough resistance. Try isometrics if you can't get to any weights.

Wasn't Captain Superdong trumpeting the size of manhood earlier?

I figured he was lifting cars with it by now.

It's going to be the next Canadian sport to be added to the Olympics.

how are you managing to hold onto the bar? ive tried 550 many times, but i cant keep my hands clasp together.

and congrats.

What kind of grip are you using?

What stance are you using?

Are you using chalk on the bar and hands?

Are you deadlifting in shorts ( you have to baby powder the out of the tops of the thighs to prevent drag and hitching.

What kind of belt are you using?

Are you platform training?

Sorry, too many questions. Better P.M. me. lol

Careful.. I'll actually PM. I'm only passionate about 3 things - my woman, comics and lifting.

For me, it's women and comic.

Lifting them, right?

In my everyday life, I'm on the tall side of average, and stronger than the average dude. On a comic book message board, I might as well wear a dress. Who knew?

:roflmao:

I lift weights every day, but I do high reps. I feel like being able to move your bodyweight around (calisthenics) and muscle endurance are more practical for everyday life than trying to move mountains. Maybe I'm just being a pu55y.

No waste at all mate. Bodyweight stuff is the most impressive IMO anyway.

Check this champion out:

I actually had that video in my favorites. Small world. lol

That's the kind of fitness I aspire to. I've been working on muscle-ups. Have you seen this dude?

That is impressive.

One thing I could never stand is when guys work out their upper body at the expense of their lower body.

Fail.

You're tall, which doesn't help. Also, there's a coordination element to it which comes from practice, not brute strength. If you can do a couple of dozen chin-ups with ease, give it a shot.
