comicjack
Thanks for the informed estimates. I guess I'm priced out of ever getting one. In the past I've spent up to $250 on each of a few icon-type books, including a Phantom Lady 18, and $250 twelve years ago would = about $375 today. It's painfully obvious that collecting reader grade copies at affordable prices is now a thing of the past, in many instances. Depends on the book some go rather cheap for their age! fifties
As Dr. Smith would say: "Oh, the PAIN...the PAIN!" I can see that i get a lotta sympathy on this website, bwahahha! Received about a dozen comics today. These are- I think- the two with the greenest covers; This one cost over a buck and a half in a bidding war, represented to be in G+. I think it could be considered an easy G-VG or VG-. Wondering if I overpaid?
Jayman
Actually I was being sympathetic (in my own style), as I know those days are long past! But what can we do? nice books btw, love that Anderson scifi cover. A rare Atlas with no side panels to interfere with the cover! Robot Man
Just back from CGC: Wow, what a load! Did you kiss the mail man when he arrived? That Horrific #3 is just stunning color wise. One of my top 5 PCH covers. I have upgraded that book several times just for the color but still don't have one that nice.
