All Signature series books are nothing but scribble, defacing the book itself.

If you want an autograph, just use a reprint or a photograph. 90% of SS seekers are only in it for the money they think it will bring. IMHO.

This 10% says you can sit and spin. (thumbs u

Okay Fonzie.

Dumbest thing I've read so far, but I'll keep reading...

I doubt it's going to get topped in this thread, but you never know ...

I agree with Tsimanga 100%. I wouldn't pay 2 cents for a Sig Series book. I can tolerate a signature on a splash page, but seeing a signature on a GA cover makes me want to chuck a leprechaun into an electric fan. BA/CA/MA books are so common I don't really care, but I still wouldn't want one.

I should say all, that is, besides the SS books I own, or like.

Reading this makes me want to SS as many GA books as I can.

You must really dislike leprechauns.

I suggest getting some old Action Supermans signed by Dean Cain.

Or some Wyatt Earps signed by Kevin Costner or Kurt Russell

Some Wyatt Earps that have been sitting collecting dust comic shop long boxes for a couple decades might look fancy schmancy with a Kurt Russel scribble on them.

I am in this same camp, but I respect peoples right to get books signed. I put it in the same camp as the people that had original art colored. For me ruins the piece just like a signed book but some folks love it and if it is theirs, they can do what they want. Probably the bigger issue I have is two fold:

1. Why do some people get stuff signed by people who didn't have anything to do with the book.

2. The fact that CGC gives signature series books a higher score in the registry.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that the VAST majority of Pedigree collectors I know do NOT want a SS Pedigree book whatsoever.

I may be in the minority, but I love pedigrees and I love pedigree SS books :)
