I wish they wouldn't dilute the print runs with reprints, especially now that there's digital comics and TPBs for those that just want to read them. Leave the small original print runs alone for collectors. I mean, I've been patiently waiting for the TPB to come out in May to read MD.

I feel the same about the diluting factor. But, speculators and hoarders tend to collect/sell subsequent printings. One other issue, is that THESE subsequent printings don't even look like they're clearly marked as 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. They have the exact same cover. I've seen a lot of posts on the interwebz of newbs fooled by stockpiling when they're actually getting non-first prints.

:roflmao:

I finally sat down last night and read all of the issues. Wow. I originally bought both # 1's simply because I am into American history but the storyline and art was fanstastic.

Ottley is coming to Denver so I have to wait till then to get one of my MD signed by him.

Was he taking any commissions on?

He wasnt taking commissions at the show when I asked friday, but I would email him a month or a couple weeks out to see if he'd do one. I saw him remark some invincibles and also saw him sign what looked to be 2 full runs of invincible for the two guys ahead of me, haha. They didnt grade any either... he was a super nice guy and I didnt even have to wait long.

what's everyone's opinion on the relatively low price that the LBCC Sketch Variant is getting. isn't it supposed to be a print run of 250? but it doesn't fetch that much more than the Ottley or even the 1st Print.
