That's not paranoid. I knocked over a glass of wine on my kitchen table and it splashed over about 50 of my high grade DC sci-fi books, including many White Mountain copies. Luckily I store them in Mylar which is then placed into a larger Mylar sleeve with a flap. Only one book was damaged. I never have drinks on the same table as books anymore. Board members Silver and Comick1 were there to witness this panic inducing incident.

Not freed. It has never been slabbed. It is awfully pretty, and apparently awfully expensive as my mammoth offer barely raised an eyebrow.
