kdoginohio
Pretty decent episode last night. Little English girl starting to grow on me. Lotsa back round shtuff to digest. They could have CGI'd Thor to calm the storm. Just saying.
thunsicker
The rumor now is that the character played by J. August Richards character might become Deathlok. Oooh. That's a good one. So that means they won't use it.
skypinkblu
I think it was the best episode yet. The Wonder Twins were the least annoying they have ever been. The new boy scientist has the makings of a super villain and I still love Mae. PLUS they used Lola! My favorite in the show:) That means they will all be canceled shortly. They could have CGI'd Thor to calm the storm. Just saying. It is an opportunity they are missing for sure. A brief scene where someone mentions "this storm is growing, it is beyond what we can do." Cut to Coulson: "I will call a friend. If he isn't a million miles away the God of Thunder can stop this." Show Coulson on a communication device and have him say something like "...need your help Shield priority one" The next scene the storm subsides. Don't even have to show Thor, just the idea that he helped. That said, if they do stuff like that, why do we need this team of Shield Agents? I can see why they don't do it. True, but why call it MAOS then? Why not simply call them the A-Team? There should be a connection to the broader Marvel Universe. Not one appearance by Nick Fury and a couple of references after 10+ episodes to Captain America or the "God of Thunder". Viewers WANT to see plenty of sub-plots involving other characters from the existing Marvel library.
slym2none
Heck, even seeing someone fly by in the background would be nice every now and then. Show us they live in the same world as superheroes. We don't have to even know who it is, just an acknowledgement every once in a while! -slym

rjrjr
One complaint I have about the show has nothing to do with the lack of superheroes or supervillains. I have a hard time believing a spy agency is going to run around in vehicles with the spy agency logo pasted on the side. In the episode a few weeks ago, someone slid a flash charge into a room and sure enough, there was the SHIELD logo on the charge displayed in all its glory. I guess discretion isn't a trait of SHIELD. Another complaint is the Centipede organization. With all the cool organizations Marvel has (AIM, Hydra, Serpent Society, Zodiac, etc.) why did they need to invent another organization for the show? Seems like a lost opportunity to me. Other than these minor quibbles, the show is growing on me.

DrWatson
Stan the Man is coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., on the next new episode in the first week of February (enough time to catch up, slackers!). Of course, that's not the main crux of this promo for the episode. No, we have some kind of "Astonishing, Series-Changing final act" also being teased. Right after those words? Silenced gun shots and Agent Coulson saying "Hang on, just hang on!"
Boba
Better then the earlier episodes, but I'm sorry - the fight sequences are very tame compared to Arrow's. I'm glad it's gotten better, and I hope it lasts, but tonight's the real deal

That's the problem though. People are watching this show to see people and things they get in the comics. If none of that bleeds over to the show (ala Arrow), why did they bother basing the show on a Marvel property in the first place? DrWatson
Bill Paxton is joining the cast of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" as Agent John Garrett, a high ranking SHIELD operative who used to work with Agent Coulson. According to the press release, Agent John Garrett is a cigar-smoking operative who is not content to sit at a desk and will jump right into the action with Agent Coulson and his most experienced team member Agent May. The four-episode "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" run for Bill Paxton will take place in late February or early March.
