Great looking copies.  The colors really pop on both.  That Suspense 8 is really tough in above VG.

Yup, a tough one. This is the first I've come across. It's pretty beat but sometimes you have to take what you can get.

Posted in the vintage paperback thread but figured there'd be interest here as well. I used to see these Cole Croydon Mystery Digests come up once in a while but lately they have gone ghost and when they do, they're usually creased to death. This one has blazing white pages too

There’s a ton of LB Coles up for sale in the boardie sales forum. None are mine. It’s just a bit surprising to see these sales threads all going up at once. In looking over those books, I made (for me) a surprising discovery. One of my favorite parts of the cover on Thrilling Crime cases got reused in a later cover. I’m talking about the guy that looks like the private detective. I’m left wondering where else this guy may have popped up

Yup, this is only the second copy on the census.
