Sqeggs
CGC can't seem to make up their minds about whether to label Superior books as Canadian editions, which I think they all were, no? This one has an interesting Kamen cover, although kind of awkwardly composed, imo. sacentaur

I fixed it in photoshop just now after looking at my copy. This is real...still nice, but not as "bold" as the phony...LOL Don't know if I've ever seen a copy of this one before. I think it's a 'case' of they are strictly Canadian produced books, as opposed to 'Canadian edition' which implies, there are U.S. produced issues. Sqeggs
A lot of nice painted covers in this run--mostly repurposed from Avon paperbacks? Tough to find this one in decent shape. Census topper is only a 5.5. davet75 and pmpknface

Weren't there also some issues that were produced in Canada but sold in the U.S.? In think this was all discussed before, but who can remember these things?? Not me, evidently! Sqeggs
Love most of the covers in this series. Fairly common to find beater copies of this run, but mid-grade and above are really tough. Not sure I've seen any high-grade copies, although I wouldn't put it past @MrBedrock to have some. MrBedrock and pmpknface
Popular Post Sqeggs
Another Gleason romance series with some great covers. Not sure who the artist was here, but I like this one a lot. Upgraded from a "Nancy collection" copy. Sqeggs
Always resisted bothering with this one because there are a crazy number of high-grade copies (warehouse find?). But this fell into my lap dirt cheap. In a six-way tie for 13th highest graded. pmpknface
Popular Post Sqeggs
Alice Kirkpatrick doesn't get much respect from CGC, but this is definitely one of hers. davet75, sacentaur, sagii and 2 others

There were no U.S. editions. Sqeggs and sacentaur 1
Popular Post Sqeggs
One of the more confusaliting titles. Despite the cover and despite the CGC label, this is actually Lovelorn 52. ACG didn't change the official title to match the cover title until issue 76. I think this copy is in a three-way tie for highest graded, but who knows? Much whiter in hand than my scanner makes it seem. damonwad, comicnoir, Tri-Color Brian and 7 others
Sqeggs
The escalation in the prices of Cole romance has outstripped my willingness to buy them, but I picked this one up at some point last year. pmpknface and Chief1332

You are wasting no times kicking butt and taking names! At least we know you've still been collecting and submitting books. Great show today (so far) Sqeggs

There were probably 2,000+ copies of this issue, along with all the other Charlton titles from the same time period. This is one of the reasons that Thing #16 should be no more than a $20 book...there were 15,000+ copies of that one... Yorick
Popular Post Sqeggs
Despite the unfortunate miscut and the Newton rings in the slabbing (both accentuated by my scan) there are times when you see a book and say to yourself "Self, old laddie, methinks we must buy this book." And you have to answer "Yes, I believe we do." MrBedrock, Tri-Color Brian, sagii and 2 others

I wonder if there are still piles of high-grade copies of both issues still sitting somewhere waiting to be slabbed?
