steve, i've been thinking about it; as nice as that larson is, it is still just a single-name pedigree.  below, i show you a multi-word ped of the same book.  if you are willing to trade, head-up, in order to get the much-desired 2-word ped book, then i have some don and maggie thompson collection books i'd like to put you into.

It's not a Mystery, I like to keep things simple. (:

Another Larson:

Steve;

I have always loved the colors on the MM 6, and from what I can see, the colors on your Larson copy looks like it's still dripping wet as though its fresh right off the printing press.  :cloud9:

Any idea why CGC gave it only a grade of VF+ 8.5 when the Larson Master List indicates that it should be a clean NM/M copy without any noted flaws at all?  ???   :frown:

Hard to tell in the small photograph (don't know why it did that), but there's a small chip out at the bottom right corner of the front cover and also a small chip out on the back cover. I thought they might be production defects, but CGC thought otherwise.

With that in mind, the grade is thus accurate and I have no complaints (vivid colors, white pages, and the Larson pedigree appeal to me more than a technical grade).

The Larson list is of course very helpful, but it is not a completely trustworthy source for grading on a thousand books.
