Damn. I missed all the fun. And +1 MSchmidt said. It's really not all that hard to get cases open with minimal damage - and a bit of glue would make it hard to detect in a picture.

The cgc serial number is: 0056451020 (at least, that's what I think it is - the number was hard to read from the photo, but that does go to a submariner #2 in cgc's registry, so odds are that's the right number.)
