That's re-runs, or new episodes?

-slym

How come both of those choices scare me now that it might be on the El Ray channel. lol

Spy Kids crossover? :wishluck:

You throw salt into my open cinematic wound. And it hurts. It hurts!

By the way, that's for re-runs only.

:(

No Matt Ryan only acting in front of a green screen or an awkward introduction of his occult inventor uncle Machete?

That sucks.

yah, it just means they have the rights to air the shows episodes. For the actors at least they'll get some royalty money, but doesnt mean much in terms of getting new episodes filmed.

Last night's episode of Arrow truly utilized Constantine in the way they SHOULD have embraced him on NBC. What a shame they couldn't see what a gem they had over at that network before they pulled the chute.

Constantine used more magic and had more action in that one episode of Arrow than he had in his entire series on NBC.

This morning I found this interesting tidbit:

http://comicbook.com/2015/11/05/constantine-takes-a-shot-at-nbc-on-arrow/

Do you think Constantine might hold a little grudge that NBC only gave him one season before canceling his show? On the “Haunted” episode of Arrow, Constantine took a little dig at his former network.

One of the items that Constantine had Felicity bring him in preparation for attempting to restore Sara’s soul was a dead peacock feather. Felicity was confused over why Constantine would need a dead peacock feather. It turns out Constantine didn't need the feather for Sara at all. Constantine took the feather and simply used it to scratch an itch on his back. Nothing can be more satisfying than scratching an itch with a dead peacock feather.

Of course, NBC is known as the Peacock Network because of their Peacock logo, which they started using in 1956.

That is great. I'm sure he wanted to use it somewhere else to show his appreciation.

http://comicbook.com/2015/11/05/arrow-ratings-rise-with-constantine-guest-appearance/

While most shows saw a ratings decrease on Wednesday night, Arrow was one of the few shows that showed a ratings increase. Arrow’s ratings rise was likely driven by a guest appearance by Matt Ryan reprising his role as Constantine from the canceled NBC series.

Arrow scored a 1.0 rating in key demographics and 2.57 million viewers. This was a 10% increase over the previous week, which saw a 0.9 rating for Arrow. The 1.0 rating is just short of the season 4 premiere rating of 1.1, which had been the highest ratings since the series premiere.

In general, it seems Season 4 of Arrow is being well-received by fans, so ratings are looking strong for the fourth season. It should also be noted that the Constantine episode was able to drive a ratings increase, despite being leaked early online.

Constantine Fans Launch Petition to Get Show Back On Air

A group of Constantine fans have officially launched a petition to bring the show back. They call it "Save Constantine," but over half a year later, you'd really have to call it something more like "resurrect Constantine using a Lazarus Pit," wouldn't you?

The petition has nearly reached its 5,000 signature goal, and the fans then plan to present it to any number of individuals and networks, including The CW, where the character guest-starred in Arrow last week to great ratings, and USA, a sister-network to NBC, where Constantine originally aired its first (and as-yet-only) season.

is there some contractual mess that prevents constantine from going on the WB/CW where it can develop a following and where 2-3 million viewers will avoid cancellation? it was getting almost 3 million viewers at the end, which i guess is not enough for nbc, but good elsewhere. i know some of that is just due to being on nbc and might not carry over to WB, but you don't need that many on WB/WC to survive. heck, WB/WC brought "the originals" and "vampire diaries" back and they had less than half that.

if that sort of share isn't enough it looks like grimm will be cancelled. oh well.

Petition To Bring Back Constantine Near 50,000 Signatures

It's been gone for months, but with a resurgence of interest following Matt Ryan's appearance on Arrow earlier this month, Constantine fans have renewed their efforts to bring the show back from the dead.

Here's what they have to say on a Change.org petition that has reached almost 50,000 signatures:

"The dark supernatural TV series Constantine originally aired on NBC for one 13 episode season only to be cancelled. This left a very strong and avid fanbase without any network for their show to call home. Constantine needs to be saved by another network to give the fans closure. This situation would be a win for both sides. The network to pick it up will receive a boost in ratings and revenue while the fans will be able to see their beloved show live once more. On November 4th, 2015, it was proved that the Constantine fan base is still very much alive as evidenced by the reception to the character's appearance on the 5 episode of Arrow's fourth season. We encourage you to sign this petition to show the various networks available to pick this show up that there is in fact interest for the show to live on."

The petition is targeting El Rey Network (who air Constantine reruns), The CW (who air Arrow), Netflix, Yahoo Screen, AMC, and the USA Network. In the case of USA, the thinking is that it's a cable net with ties to NBC, who aired the original 13 episodes.

Petition to Save Constantine Marches On, Despite New Questions

The petition, which scrambled to 50,000 signatures in the week after Matt Ryan reprised the role of John Constnatine in a guest appearance on Arrow, is now closing in on 75,000.

For a while following the huge fan interest in Constantine's appearance on Arrow, there was some speculation that Matt Ryan could return to that series in the future or even head to DC's Legends of Tomorrow once his current run on Broadway ends. This week, though, rumors that John Constantine could be headed to the big screen as part of the not-dead-yet Dark Universe film have left those who remember what happened to Arrow's Suicide Squad wondering whether Ryan will get another shot at the trench coat at all.

As of this writing, the petition has more than 69,000 signatures. When we covered the fans' attempts to reach 50,000, it was hovering around 47,000 and managed to top 50,000 within a couple of hours.

"The dark supernatural TV series Constantine originally aired on NBC for one 13 episode season only to be cancelled. This left a very strong and avid fanbase without any network for their show to call home,' says the petition (linked above). "Constantine needs to be saved by another network to give the fans closure. Hardcore fans never give up. Never surrender!

Fans Launch A Petition to Get a Constantine Season One DVD

It's been months since Constantine appeared on Arrow, and while the episode provided the CW hit with a boost in its ratings that week, it didn't seem to motivate anybody to rush right out and demand more Constantine. So the Hellblazers are back in action, now with a petition to get a Season One DVD release from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

"Haunted," the Arrow episode in which Ryan guest-starred as Constantine, remains the top-rated episode of Arrow ever by the ComicBook.com readership on our TV database.

Barring any kind of rights tie-ups or other unknown reasons why it wouldn't work, Constantine seems a good candidate for the Warner Archive, which has previously released seasons of The Adventures of Superman and Superboy. The Archive is a print-on-demand service for smaller titles which might not have enough of a fan base to justify a full print run and a mainstream retail release.
