Tri-Color Brian
In 1966, Mad comics were $2.50 each at Cherokee Bookstore, except for issues 1,2, and 5. I bought this at a different used book store in Pasadena, and they charged $5. Highway Robbery! Tri-Color Brian
On my first visit to that old wonderland called Cherokee Bookstore, this and the Mona Lisa issue were the first Mad comics I ever bought. OtherEric and Raze
Tri-Color Brian
Most of my Mad comics are not high grade, or even mid-grade, because in the 60s most collectors were not condition conscious... Raze
Tri-Color Brian
The guys at Collectors Bookstore called this copy "Mint" when I bought it for their outrageous price of $4...I would not call it Mint today...
