3.5 IMHO. That moisture stain looks like it goes through the entire book. The FC tear looks to be rather long as well. But it is still a nice book to own.

I was thinking 4.0/4.5 range, but wasn't sure how to factor in the staining.

I think 4.5 is appropriate, but wouldn't be surprised with an assigned grade of +-.5. The stain and the tear hurt, but I just can't see it as low as 3.5.

CGC hammers staining. The tear looks to be a tad long as well. The fact the stain looks to go through the whole book sure doesn't help matters. It does present well though. ASM 129 is my favorite all time book. The technical grade is in the 3.5 to a possible 4.0 IMHO.

CGC is notoriously tough on stains... I'd be shocked if this book comes back higher than a 3.5/4.0. Regardless of the stains It's still good looking ASM #129. Cover presents very well.

4.5 IMHO! Though CGC is notorious for being hard on stains they appear to be lenient on this particular book. The courts rule it a draw!
