The most noticeable area is the bottom of the foot. There would be no reason to alter that part of the drawing if one cover or the other was a stat.

Yet the rendering/crosshatching of the two feet is entirely different.

Plus I'm not sure about everyone else but I don't care as much when a guy light boxes himself. One set of hands light boxing another is more problematic (at least for me). Yeah you'd like to have the pencils under there but Id prefer a piece lightboxed by the artist himself as opposed to one where the inker light boxed pencils and the pencilled never touched the page.

In a case where the pencilled and the inker are the same guy.. Less issues as I see it

No truth to this at all .You may have read the falsity awhile back posted by 301 owner.

I had the pleasure of discussing this with Todd and he confirmed the 300 was done prior to the 301.

The 300 cover is a historic one and at the time I couldn't turn down the offer.

It should be fun to watch

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard somewhere that 301 was actually created before issue 300, and that 300 is therefore just an inked stat of 301 (so no actual pencils, etc). Is this true?

Not sure how many ppl check out the Misc / Unassigned section.

Lots of pretty copper pages there too.

Miller ASM Annual page with Punisher shooting Spidey

Another Watchmen page

2 more Jim Lee pages (1 UXM, 1 Classic X-Men)

Pitt #1 Cover

A boat load of Silvestri pages

an ASM 316 page with a great shot of spidey

Looks like it's going to be a fun auction.

I assume these all get moved to the original art section once they assign it?

This will be fun to watch: Strange Tales 152

Waiting to see the scan of this, Everett twice up covers are rare.

Scan is up.

Beautiful cover, I'm not a buyer at this level anyway but I would imagine buyers would prefer a larger Doc image?

I would think so as well. That image of Umar is so large that it is.........UNRELENTING!
