As of 30 minutes ago, Midtown Comics downtown location STILL has 4 day multi day passes for sale. They also have Thursday, Friday, Sunday individual tickets. 10 minute wait on line max. All the campers are long gone. Store closes at 8 PM

 

3 day pass and Saturday individual tickets are sold out.

Kids day tickets will only be sold with purchase of Sunday ticket.

Are there normally any panels on Thursdays? I haven't seen any mention of anything. I'm assuming Saturdays are the busiest with Thursday/Sunday much calmer.. Or are Thursdays busy with people lined up for exclusives? Any one have any experience how the Thursday experience is?

 

I'm mainly going to meet the artists but it would be nice to catch a panel or two. Also is the artist alley busy on a Thursday?

Every day is a madhouse, with Thursday's being the least insane. There typically are panels each day, but will probably be less big-names. Good day to meet artists, although check to make sure people you want to see will be there that day, as many don't show up for all four days.

Okay thanks. Yeah one of my concerns of doing a Thursday was that there's always a chance an artist hasn't shown up yet. I've already reached out to Hughes who said he'll be there each day.

Thursday isn't the best day for artists, a lot of them won't be there yet.

 

It is the best day to get exclusives before they are all gone.

Imo Thursday is a must do if you are there for art. Some may not be there til later in the day but if you are looking for commissions especially from hard to get artists you have to do Thursday.
