Marvel Studios Announces Phase 3 Lineup

Does marvel have the rights to black bolt? If not, FF 46 shouldn't be relevant to tomorrow's announcements.
yes they have all the inhumans

Then FF 36 could also be in the mix.

Yes it will be

However Diesel has hinted at being Black Bolt. That overshadows anyone else announced on that film

My guess is that this gathering is to announce Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange, and that Spider-Man becomes part of the Marvel Studio family.

Frankly, I don't care much about either development, but having Steve Ditko emcee the event would grab my attention.

Benedict Cumberbatch gives me the heebie-jeebies. Cant exactly figure why, but I don't like to watch anything that he's in....and I've tried.

My predictions

1. Doctor Strange confirmed with lead actor

2. Spider-Man back with Marvel or join the MCU

3. Captain America 3 title 'Civil War"

4. Sub-Mariner Movie (Possible easter egg in AOU trailer - no water scene)*

5. Black Panther Movie (Easter egg in AOU trailer - Ulysses Klaw)

* Universal/Legendary Pictures distributes the movie but Marvel produces it.

I think you are going down the right path for one of the news pieces.

CAPTAIN MARVEL Rumored (Again) For AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON

----------------

"yes, Captain Marvel as Carol Danvers will be appearing in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which might boost the sales of the comic book." Last we heard on this, Marvel were planning t include a cameo appearance for the character, but decided against introducing her cold without a proper set-up. Is it possible that the recent DC announcement of a solo Wonder Woman movie made them rethink things?

----------------

Could Marvel finally be committing to a female character movie after all this time? It's either going to be Captain Marvel or Black Widow (or both).

How many new characters can they introduce without the movie becoming a convoluted mess?

Considering the measured pace Marvel Studios has used so far in developing the Marvel movie universe, I wonder about some of this.

I would love to see Spidey in the Marvel movie universe, where he belongs.

Honestly? I wouldn't. One of the things I loved is that Marvel has had to make due without their mega franchises. So rather than just rolling out Spider-man and knowing they can cash a 750 million dollar check, they have to make deep/good movies that people actually enjoy which is better. Basically the challenge of working with B and C list characters has made Marvel step there game up.

You make a really good point.

True Phase One for Marvel was movies like Blade, DD and Punisher where they learned what worked and what didn't.

True Phase Two has been what most think of when they think of Marvel's success. Iron Man I to now.

Where I disagree, is that I think they would now know how to manage the wealth.

But I agree it made them work harder and be more creative.

There is definitely interest in Namor at Marvel. And it would most probably have to be a partner production.

Kevin Feige Clears Up The SUB-MARINER Situation

It would be the clear Marvel answer to Aquaman.
