Hi guys

 

I could use some help with this one

 

Tape on entire spine and some on cover (brown spots)

spine is split on leadt 70 % of it with the odd inch or so still intact

All the tape is from the inside of the cover not on the outside.

 

Pages are off white

not attached to the staples but holding on to the spine due to the tape

 

Still glossy and complete

I couldn't find any resto ....what do you think ?

You definitely have a chance at a 1.5. (thumbs u

 

However, I'm curious if they will put "cover detached" on the label.

 

Before they wouldn't; however, I've heard they now grade "tape" as if it's not there as a benefit. Without the tape, it's detached. I'm curious if they will just downgrade for it, or if they will note it on the label as well. I honestly don't know.

 

Does anyone else know?

Just found the press release about the new tape policy. It doesn't say if they will note: cover detached on the label itself: CGC modifies stance on tape

 

:think: thats interesting

The tape and the spine split is what was hurting this books grade

taking this news into consideration it might grade higher

Possibly 1.5 -1.8
