"Spider-Gwen #1 is close to 200,000 units sold in advance preorders through Diamond Comics Distributors, ComicBook.com has learned."

:applause:

Those numbers seem pretty high, I wonder if this involves loot-crate at all.

"Her rising popularity is going to make the boom huge," said Jeremiah Fettinger of Sound Go Round in Vestal, NY. "Since Edge of Spider-Verse #2 she's been a staple of fan art and is a great jumping-on point..."

Ok I have the official Phantom Variant Numbers.

Larry right now can't post on the boards.

Print run is 3,000 for the colour and 1,500 for the black and white.

This book is suppose to come out at the end of the month so a final order cut off for last week for the variants makes sense.

I don't care if every issue ends up in the dollar bin. This is one of the few times I am buying variants and I am doing it for the artwork and my long term collection. Some of them are just flat out good looking books.

Larry "Phantom" himself.
Wait, are you saying Larry told you the cut off date for Phantom's was Monday and the print run for this book was 3,000 and 1,500?

The reason I ask is because my understanding was different on both counts.

Larry posted the print run on his site. I don't know about the cutoff date.

Marvel has a good thing going here and I hope they don't mess it up. They have a character with potential and a very large fan following that rarely happens with someone that is a new character. Hopefully they write a good story and keep the art at a high level.

I agree with a lot of your posts.

The ASM #300 swipe is staying in my PC for good.
