These are comics with the DCUniverse written in the UPC box. They were typically sold in multi-packs, as far as I know. They're tough to find in high grade, and there are some that are part of popular collectors sets, such as the Death and Life of Superman, and the Knightsend/Knightquest/Knightfall series. Silverdream Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) I tend to snatch these up in VF or better when I see them for cheap ( $1-3 ) I actually picked up the GL 51 2nd print logo variant in a shop last week while on vacation in Arizona for $1 , minty fresh too! I know that * some* did indeed come in 2-3 packs and collectors sets. I believe some were distributed in the Costco " brick" 20 packs as well. Best list I have seen so far. I'm sure there are more, but cannot think of any ATM. RMA knows a lot more about these particular variants than I, so I defer to him. Yes, it came in the Green Lantern boxed set which also contained GL #50-55, I think. I'm not entirely sure what the question is, but these books were I think sold ONLY in multi-book packs in retail outlets, like a target or Costco, maybe walmart, and some bookstores. Of course, some comic book shops might have had some of these packs too. So you wouldn't likely have had any mailed to subscribers in my opinion. There were SOME small set and single issues, as listed above, like the Superman Wedding Special, Superman: Man of Tomorrow, and the Aquaman, etc. You know what's weird? never heard of or seen any Teen Titans DCU, would have been New Teen Titans at the time I think. Is that what we have here? Subscription variants? With some misc set and specialty books and reprints that have the logo as well? I'm not entirely sure what the question is, but these books were I think sold ONLY in multi-book packs in retail outlets, like a target or Costco, maybe walmart, and some bookstores. Of course, some comic book shops might have had some of these packs too. So you wouldn't likely have had any mailed to subscribers in my opinion. There were SOME small set and single issues, as listed above, like the Superman Wedding Special, Superman: Man of Tomorrow, and the Aquaman, etc. You know what's weird? never heard of or seen any Teen Titans DCU, would have been New Teen Titans at the time I think. New Titans, and I don't see any examples of these. Also, you will need to make a distinction for Supergirl, since I have instances of DC Universe UPCs for both the 1994 mini series and the 1996 ongoing series.
