Lot's of good ones...hard to choose.

 

I'll go off course a bit from the "cape" route and say the scene in 300 where the camera is focused on Leonidas as he cuts down Xerxes horde. A couple of shield bashes, then he throws his spear, and then he goes to work with his sword. Epic.

Opening scene of Blade is a guilty pleasure.

 

The "This is where we hold them!" speech from Leonidas before the first wave in 300.

 

The rooftop run in the first Crow with NIN belting it out.

 

Many more but those off the top of my head.

I'm not sure if another one of these is my my favorite scene, but it was unforgettable to me when I first saw it was in Superman: The movie, when he caught the helicopter with one...

 

No, I'm kidding. It was when he was racing with Pa Kent (Glenn Ford) on the farm, and Pa stops grabbing his arm or something and dies. I used to race with my father a lot and just outright stopped after that in '80 after seeing that in a re-release.

 

It happened so random. So sad. :(
