Dr. Balls
As a longtime fan of the original comic and movie, I think this is an interesting reboot. I'll check it out, even if Ernie Hudson isn't in it. My only criticism is how does that guy who plays The Big Bad in every other comic book movie continue to get cast? Are villain-types really that hard to find? Popular Post october
As a child I barely dared dream that Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet saga would one day make it to the silver screen, but I lived to see those glorious moments. I was able, against all odds, to check my number one comic hope off the list. Today my second hope, of seeing The Crow reimagined as a Soundcloud rapper from Florida, is at hand. I salute Hollywood's great bounty, its largesse is truly boundless. Mystafo, D84, Dr. Balls and 3 others

D84
The logline should be: A Florida man goes on a killing spree with a bird. Bosco685

Wall-Crawler
The first Crow was / is one of my favourite "super hero" movies. For some reason, this version of the Crow is giving me the Jared Leto Joker vibes. D84 and Bosco685
Bosco685
Quote The arrival of the first full theatrical remake of The Crow is upon us. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in just a few months. Ahead of that release, however, screenwriter Cliff Dorfman had a rather strong reaction to The Crow. The full reaction to the film as follows: “If hypothetically, one happened to see a screening of @TheCrow_Movie #thecrow which @Lionsgate is releasing in August, one might say, it’s horrible, it’s unwatchable, don’t waste your money, or can’t believe it’s so much worse than the original. It is. And don’t.” D84 and Mystafo
D84
Honestly, "Horrible" and "Unwatchable" is better than I was expecting from the trailer. Bosco685

Buzzetta
At least for me, the overall success of the Crow back in 94' was supported by a superior soundtrack of music that fit the tone of the film. Now in my opinion, Skarsgard is a superior actor to what Brandon Lee had previously done at that point in his career. However, the first film benefitted from being every bit of the low budget movie that it seemed to be. The set was grimy and unpolished. There was a grit to the streets where it looked like every bit the Gotham City that a Batman could have been in. Rain was constantly used to hide special effect shots. It was all of these little things that came together that still make the film hold up today. This film... It just doesn't vibe the same way and it has nothing to do with the mythos of Brandon Lee dying during filming. I know people that were either too young or not even alive at that point to know that Lee died and they still saw it and thought it was a good movie. For reference - Sequence using, "Burn" by the Cure.

D84
Do you think it will do better or worse than Borderlands opening weekend? My vote is it will be a very close number, but I'm not sure who will win.

It's one of the best curated soundtracks of all time IMHO. Of course, my all-time favorite OST is from the Blues Brothers, so take that comment with a grain of salt. fast eddie, jimjum12, Mystafo and 2 others 4
