That guy has the worst cellulite I've ever seen!

And that jet pack exhaust is roasting his butt

Thanks to all for posting all the great books in here!

I've never seen this one-any details? Who published it and when? GREAT find!

Thanks! It was published by the National Research Bureau of Chicago, which also published America Under Socialism. No date on it. Can't find any other information about it - unlisted in Guide. Never even knew this existed until I saw it. The guy I got it from got it 25 years ago from the CEO of a public utility. Maybe it was sent out as a sample for solicitation and never widely distributed?

That is beyond cool. I thought I knew all of the A-bomb comics but this is one I haven't seen in 20+ years of actively looking for them. This is an amazing discovery.

Nice collection. I suspect someone on this board won the Heritage Auction for "IsThis Tomorrow #nn Australian Edition (Catechetical Guild, 1947)". Very rare book to obtain.

It was not me, although I really wanted it

That listing was the first time I realized that an Australian edition existed. Anyone ever seen another copy? hm

I have not. I know that there is a copy in the library in Australia. I just do not know which one. This may be one of the only copies extant outside of that library

Did you win the book? :wishluck:

Monash University has a copy. The inside of the book is black and white.

I was the under bidder but I would have possibly bid more if Heritage would have answered my email last week asking about the back cover. The description was rather sparse.

Nice! :applause:

The description mentions "some extra graphic content" inside this version -- when the book rolls in I'd love to hear (or see :wishluck: ) more about that.

According to Overstreet, the preliminary U.S. version included some graphic content that was edited out of the published version. I'll hazard a guess that the Australian version may have followed the preliminary U.S. version rather than the published U.S. version.

Or perhaps the Australian version was itself a preliminary version and the book may have not actually been published in Australia. Seems like a possibility given how scarce it is.
