Who is more surprised on this copy of Young Love #49 ?

The seller for the auction ending that high, or the buyer when receiving the comic and it's not 7.5 - 8.5 as advertised?

That does look like a pretty crazy price. Especially considering there are a few higher grade slabs for that book. It slides look like the buyer left positive feedback.

It doesn’t come up for sale all too often, but jeez. That was a lot to pay for that book.

The higher grade slabs are for Sale or in the Census?

Sorry, just in the census. The 9.4 is the Savannah’s and sold 10+ years ago, at least publicly.

I’ve been looking for about 7 years, and my copy is just a VG/F. I’d love to upgrade, but not for anything near what that one sold for.

Understood. I have two copies -- haven't looked at the older one in a bit -- but I'd say mid-grade as well.

And if I come across any more copies of this book, I just have to get it for the cover looks so wrong.

Indeed, that is so wrong. Brown and blue will never do. Don Diego is rocking the hairy chest look though, isn't he.

Catching people at it whilst standing in a doorway rather oddly dressed seems to be a theme for this title. Below, our lass has come back because she's clearly forgotten her trousers:
