Another AF15 scam?

Here's a side-by-side comparison of the hologram on all 3 photos.

The original Heritage on Etsy is obviously suffering the least from multiplicity or a copy-of-a-copy syndrome or sh*ly printer.

 

 

In the photo where you can see the shadow of the seller/photographer, yet the slab itself casts no shadow.

If you do get it in the mail, and the AF15 is fake, it could be worth something as the only known vampire slab.

What IS unbelievable is that the same book that sold in 2012 for $5,378 more recently sold for over $10,000.

Idk but the white paper looks really clear. The print out or whatever it is looks horrible. Something def doesn't look right.

I was thinking the same when I first saw the listing on Etsy. It's verified after another member found the same pictures from HA.

 

 

 

I purchased it before reading all this. But after comparing the pics from all of these links you all provided, it appears they all match.

If I don't get the comic I will do a charge back via PayPal anyway.

If I do get it, I will put good scans up here for you all to review.

Good point about it being stolen. If that isn't discovered until down the road the OP could be out his money and the book.

I saw this two days ago on craigslist (Boston area) and the seller cross-promoted/listed on Etsy. A buyer on a comic book collecting group on Facebook had arranged a buy in front of a police station and the seller stop responding.

remember folks it's hard to get ripped off if you're not trying to get over on someone else.

If you think you are getting a 9K comic for 3K because seller is desperate or clueless you have just been suckered. Watch Better Call Saul.

 

 

100% correct, and I am surprised how many (on these boards as well) feel that it's possible. Sure, it "could" happen. But that can be said for everything. I'd NEVER take that chance and is NEVER be suckered. Feel sorry for the buyer. And all those who fall for these scams ,

There are no super deals on AF 15 Hulk 1 etc

None. Not a one.

If a non collector stumbled on one of these books he'd look on ebay and WAY overvalue it.
