Sorry, all - the storm took down my Internet late on Friday, and it just got restored. I have several (!) PMs to respond to.

 

Here's what I have, and I've highlighted the ones I think (after a reasonably quick look) are 6.0 or better in green, and 8.0 or better (but not higher than 9.0) in red. I guess it's not quite as many as I thought, but there are still 65+ books here.

I’d like to do a countdown of the Dennis run starting with the last 12 cent issue 102.  Feel free to discuss the comics, post your copy and talk all about Dennis.  I’m only missing a few issues with most of my 12 centers being pretty high grade with the 10 centers more mixed.

Issue 98 is one of the few I don’t have a copy. In 1969 they had two spin off #1’s.  Mr. Wilson the middle age neighbor man who gets annoyed by Dennis’s drama and pranks. Margaret is the older red haired neighborhood girl who has a crush on him but he primarily ignores her.

I think Mr. Wilson is an elderly retired neighbor rather than middle aged.

Absolutely he’s probably 65-75 range, not sure if he had an actual birthday in the series.

Well, middle-aged is usually about 40–59, and elderly is usually 60 and up, so he could be either. Joseph Kearns, who played him in the T.V. series, was 52 when the series started. He died at 55 during the third season and was replaced by Gale Gordon, who was 56 at the time and 57 when the show ended.
