I really dislike the acceptance of PM purchases, for this reason.

I have always felt that all purchases should be consumated in the thread.

ie; PM deals are fine. But buyer or seller MUST post :takeit: or "SOLD! per PM", in the thread to finalize the deal. Until such is posted, there is no deal. Therefore everyone knows what is available and what is not.

 

Eliminating any question of impropriety on the sellers part.

 

Constantly wanting to paint people into a corner. :eyeroll:

Whatever my opinions are, they surely don't pass for regulations around here.

I also completely agree with the ability of sellers to set their own rules for their sales threads.

I like to give people as much rope as they need. It just surprises me, some need so little...

I think the best overall strategy is accept whatever decision a seller makes as regards to who he ends up selling to. A person can go nuts demanding that things in the world be 'fair'.
