Frank Miller Mini Comic Cover

Miller is always pushing the envelope in style and storytelling. His writing is exceptional and his art is unique to him. I'll quit buying his books when he quits making them. Otherwise, time to empty the old wallet.

I'm not a fan of the cover, but Millers art inside looks awesome! The Sinclair did a great job with the colours.

Now I'm mad Frank's not doing the art in the main book.

 

Kubert's pencils look good, it really pays tribute to Millers DKR and his style.

Frank, I never doubted you.

 

 

I never doubted Frank either, but, to be honest, I like the cover (mini) better than these interiors.

 

The cover is pure Frank. The Superman image has stuck in my brain already. These interiors don't seem like Frank as much to me. The pencils more so than with inks and colors. Doesn't look like a Miller Dino to me. Still ok, but not as striking and memorable.

 

I do like the Kubert pencils. I also love that he uses Kubert School paper, keeping it real.

Is there any meaning behind the wording, with Bill Finger instead of Bob Kane and Bill Finger?

To whom it may concern here's Rob's take on the "Miller-Hate"...

 

... Maybe his work is not as polished as it has been in the past but neither was Jack Kirby's or Joe Kubert's in their later years...

 

 

For me, a poor comparison. Joe Kubert did some superb artwork in his later years.
