wow, I am impressed, thank you! I will have to check if I am missing any of these. Kudos! (thumbs u

Word of warning. I dropped the first release date on some of those, only keeping the year, so I tagged them as January but they might not be. I am assuming you're versed enough to find the issue you need to buy. Otherwise, once you've got the list of the missing issues, post them here and I'll give you the list of where they've be printed and re-printed. I have that still on the Excel spreadsheet. I checked and it seems that I have them all :acclaim:

Scrooge:

Do you or anyone else know if there is an US publication focused site like INDUCKS? I think I've figured out how to search around for Barks and Rosa stories/art and find their US publications, but it's a pain to make a list.

I just noticed some unbelievable early WDC&Ss in the Heritage previews.

Happens all the time. But did you see those Gaines File copies! :o

Does anyone know if these are the fabled Duck books from Geppi`s collection?

I'm too lazy to look it up but I think Ciorac listed the issue numbers of the Crescent City copies of WDC&S that you can compare against. They are mighty pretty.

Well, it`s not just Crescent City books. It`s long been rumored that Geppi has some mighty fine file copies of the Duck books, and perhaps they`re now starting to get slabbed and get brought to market.

What if it turned out there were multiple ultra-HG file copies of all the Duck books and they become as common as ultra-HG ECs?!

That one says File Copy, so it probably is. There was a copy of that book in the CC collection, but Steve had/has quite a few high grade WDC&S in his collection

Is the WDCS 19 the same as the 9.4 that sold last August? I spent 10 minutes comparing and wasn't able to come to a conclusion. Some defects look almost identical and some seem different? I am curious since I was the underbidder in August and it would be a little disturbing if it were the same book. Need to get up early since it's 1 am local time and I'll be flying from Europe to California Sunday - would be nice if anyone with time to spare would check it out...

Heritage says it is a different copy from the one that sold last August. here is the quote, "The other 9.4 copy sold for $15,535 in a Heritage auction last year!"

Well, I wouldn't read too much into a statement like that. If they didn't resub it themselves, then in their eyes it's a different book, even if it's the same book.

this is just SICK! I have never held a MMM this nice. I grade this a VF+, flat as a mirror & OWW pages, just KILLER ...BUT, and there is always a but, one crossword puzzle was filled out with pencil inside. What in your opinion does that do to it's grade? If for sale, I would list it as a VF+ with 1 crossword done in pencil, but I am curious how others would handle this.
