Psithyrus
NM 98 - not a bad cover in terms of layout.. The drawings just suck ST 110 - bad cover Marvel Comics 1 - not my fav, doesn't look to me like a comic book cover (in the classic sense) GL 1 - bad; I've always hated that puppet I nominate FF 48 and BA 12 There's a reason I always think #49 is the cover to #48, whenever I see it. makeminemego
Nobody has mentioned Strange Tales Annual 2 yet. The Kirby Spider-Man is a wreck on the cover.

LAVAMAN_82
Star Wars #1 I don't hate it, but for sure it's ugly... And poorly drawn. Is Vader smoking a novelty pipe shaped like Leia's head? Has she been decapitated? The shape of the ships is ridiculous. Luke looks like He-Man... Vaders green, weirdly shaped, helm...
StingerMcK
Hands down the worst. So ugly I can't even bear to own it. Lame villain, squiggle lines all over it like a kid with an ink pen, 2/3rd of the team down, ugly drab colors, no Titans logo. Just pure mess. AGGIEZ
ASM #121 is just Spidey-butt. Turning point? Yep... turning the other cheek. Spidey-butt aside, I love that cover...

mackenzie999
Nothing wrong with this, I actually like it? Same goes with the Hulk #1, simple but very cool. I have no problem with simple at all, but I find the pose to be very awkward, the hands especially reach Ditko-levels of awkwardness. The framing is straight on medium shot, kinda bland, nothing is really happening, the colors are dull, the lighting is inconsistent... I'm an art director and if one of my designers submitted this I would reject it immediately. Edited December 17, 2015 by Mackenzie999
Bronty
I don't think there is a thing wrong with the hands. They aren't hands. They are metal gloves with overlapping plates. They are drawn as such. Metal suits, even futuristic ones, weren't conceived of as being form fitting in 1963.
mackenzie999
I guess we just see things differently. The left hand is an awkward attempt at foreshortening, and the right hand, along with the hunched posture, makes it look like he's having a good cough. I bet he let one rip in his armor. BTW I do love this book Edited December 17, 2015 by Mackenzie999
Ken Aldred
I never noticed it before. The right hand looks okay, but the left hand is very poorly drawn.
VintageComics
well that one reminds me of ASM 16 and to a lesser extent ASM 10 I think ASM #16 is one of Ditko's better Spidey poses - he's lithe, fluid.
