Batman 1 rebirth aspen ranting

Mine came around 9.6 as well. Do your copies have spine scuffing, too? Each of mine are slightly scuffed on the spine. Nothing terrible, but definitely scary when it comes to trying to get a 9.8.

For some reason I thought the artist edition set was ONLY the artist edition ... I got three copies so I have three extra colored editions.

Probably going to put them on eBay. Need to pay for some preemptive SDCC purchases.

I ordered 5 copies of the artist edition set. I'm in Canada and haven't receive an email confirmation that they were sent.

Probably international orders are done last?

I can verify that being 2 hours south of their location doesn't help in the least.

And I'm still waiting for my shipment notification email...

I received mine...ordered 2 of each. Came in a cardboard mailer and in bags/boards. 9.6s & 9.8s...only a small "ding" on back cover and a tiny "wrinkle" in middle of back cover was common. Wouldn't be noticed if not for black back cover. Corners extra sharp, lays flat, and no spine issues.

Sent an email asking about shipping details, and was told that Aspen will have all open orders filled by Wednesday. So, I feel a little better, but would have liked to get my shipping details email rather than a response. Looks like I'll continue to stalk my inbox.

Thought I would share with everyone that's worried about the next run of Turner variants:

I emailed Aspen with worries about the upcoming books being sold out as fast as the Batman #1 were and about resellers buying "bulk" for the mark-up values. This was the response I got today:

Hello,

Yes the next round of books will have tighter limitations and a larger print run to ensure more fans can get a copy.

Sincerely,

Aspen Comics

From their FB:

"SHIPPING UPDATE:

Of the nearly 1,000 Batman #1 Pre-Orders in the last two days we have shipped more than 300 packages and expect to hit more than 400 by end of day today.

Your orders are being processed as they were received, we are processing about 150 orders a day. So depending on when you order in the first 24 hours, all orders are expected to be caught up by Tuesday. Everyone should be getting their packages shortly."

hmmmm pre-orders of 1,000 Batman # 1 , does that mean that they will still have 3,500 books to sell in San Diego. I thought the pre-order quantity was much bigger than this. That follows that there will be a lot more coming to market after San Diego

Aspen was at Denver Comic Con this past weekend. They were limiting the sale of the Turner variant to one set per person. They limited the offerings each day and sold out. According to Aspen guys at the booth a majority of the books sold on the preorder and the remainder where bought to Denver where they sold out.

So don't expect any at SDCC.
