I guess it would depend on where you live though.

 

For me, the current bid with BP would be good enough to cover about half the cost for an average house on the poor side of town, and only about a third or less of the price for an entry level house on the west side of the city.

 

I guess we'll see what happens now that the government has just instituted a 15% property transfer tax on foreign purchases of homes in the metro area, effective as of yesterday.
