This is a screen shot of your post for the only book I remember selling you. I think Markentoth owns it now.

Looks like a sticker was removed from the CGC label.  I wonder if this was one of Kelly's old copies with the "Marathon Planet Collection" stickers on it.

Stickers were cool but now I’m curious if Rick removed it? ???

Such a great shot.  Black batman and supes covers in the same month, that's pretty neat.  I actually have a copy of that Buck Rogers 3 and prince valiant 25 sitting next to me atm.

Congrats to whoever won this book, hopefully a boardie.  Best looking copy I’ve ever seen and my bid wasn’t even close.

Went for around the NM price, give or take. And before that there was this...https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/planet-comics-24-fiction-house-1943-cgc-vf-85-off-white-to-white-pages/a/7231-96126.s?ic4=GalleryView-ShortDescription-071515

Not actively buying many Planets these days, but I simply couldn't resist this Rivet upgrade with rich ultramarine blues. :x

Thanks Jared! I've wanted to upgrade this issue for a while, and finally had the chance to make it happen. Seems the #18 doesn't pop up often, in any kind of grade.

Not that any of the Rivets pop up often. I guess that's why they used rivets.  :insane:

Thanks Karl! Yeah, I've been biding my time, waiting for a copy with rich blues. Easier said than done. Of course there was the kooky krazy copy (restored 6.5), but I couldn't stand the heat when it resurfaced not too long ago. Wonder if it ended up with a boardie?
