I suppose it depends on where (and when?) you grew up.

It wasn't unusual to go around shirtless - the only signs I remember were "No wet bathing suits" in stores - being we were beach-side.

 

The shirtless guy seemed to fit with the times, in my experience.

Some of those seventies conventions were held in rooms that were sweltering, and I remember seeing dealers taking their shirts off to combat the heat. Could explain this shirtless guy.

Here's pretty much how I rolled in the mid-1970's.

Shirtless - hell, go ahead and make fun of the short shorts... :grin: (real men weren't afraid to show their legs in those days)
