Next upgrade was actually duplicated 

when the heritage auction began I put tracking bids on the amf books. The next week I went to sdcc and bought a copy of 1/3 that was in the 7.0 range. Then, low and behold I win this copy!

Everett was such an articulate and versatile artist.  Duplication of these books is a good thing.  

And I am so glad, Centaur made their comics "In Complete Pictures."  Just think how unappealing they would be with incomplete pictures.

This is another very difficult issue to locate. In fact, the first 10 issues of this title represent about the best examples the publisher has to offer. Highly recommend them to anyone!

 

Continuing with the upgrades , this copy was nice , but the replaced copy a wee bit nicer.

Maybe the most desired issue of the entire run. Again, fortunate that a fellow boardie was kind enough to part with this copy. From the cosmic aeroplane pedigree.

seems to be one of the more "common" amf but so cool none the less

 

 

Years ago I owned the twilight pedigree copy of this book, but these later amf issues have never been "high" on my upgrade list. This copy just kind of happened

The Wolverton story in that book is particularly outstanding.

I like this D Ryan cover. The frog and pelican scene in the foreground is a good touch.

5th D Ryan funny animal themed cover that started volume 2

interesting to note that these 5 Ryan covered issues were actually published under the Ultem banner (post comics magazine and pre centaur )
