Yep, Friction House referred to their line as “The Big 6”. So you need six to be complete. 

Planets are not really tough. Just very popular and thusly very pricey. Knocking out the first one is a cool thing! 

I’ve always thought it would be cool to do a group shot like this off all the books put out in a certain month. It always seems like I am missing at least one...

For me, Jumbo is the title of the Big Six that is tricky here. Do you need issue 1 or issue 9, since it wasn’t really comic book size until 9?

I would say #1. That is going to make it tough and pricey though. #1 is a comic book although a big one.

I agree Jim. But there are a few of us that simply just love the FH regardless how funky it may be

I've been a bit captivated by the artwork lately! No matter how rare a comic is, it isn't as rare as the artwork that produced it! One-of-a-kind is pretty rare!   I hope you're finding some good books with all of this auction madness going on! It's getting more challenging for everyone!

Here's one more for tonight. 

A little back ground on this piece.  As any collector with decent taste we all would love to own a piece baker art. I'm just an average collector and the simple idea of owing a piece of baker art would probably be in another lifetime.  Well the opportunity presented itself to own this unique piece of FH / baker art. I was so nervous about the purchase I even consulted with the wife and I never do that 🤣🤣

The art board says jungle comics 155 but the story was published in fight comics 57 igor studios cut up the art and published it in jungle comics.  Any how here is one of my prize possessions

I hear you. Holes in my Jumbo holdings holds me back.

Seems like August 1945 cover dates is the first one I can swing. Only 5 books published that month.
