I love finding books like this. There is so much history in a book like this. I believe Mr. Steele or a previous owner cut out the logo to a rangers 40 and then hand drew and colored the cover. I love items like this.

Finally was able to scratch this one off the list! Got a cool combo of good background color strike and fading to create this cool orange gradient effect.

And hands down, Fiction House has the highest quality GGA interiors of any publisher in my opinion.

Just got around to checking out a cheap recent board purchase. What a book full. A little Baker, a little horror, some babes and even a little bar-b-cue. Everything a fella could want for a dime in 1945.

Classic Baker, and much better printed than most Phantom Lady stories.

I personally like his work on Sky Girl in Jumbo the best. Plenty of opportunity for him to portray her in those uneven panels. These give him the opportunity to show her “form” from every angle and position. Much more dynamic than the static, traditional panels in his later romance work. The stories are always a lot of fun too.
