I'm going to make myself feel better, or not :tonofbricks: by posting this "Nelvana" painting.

My Pet Monster was one of the many shows Nelvana (animation co named after the whites heroine and established by Hirsch/Loubert who bought the Bell archive) produced.

Lame connection? Yes. But, its kind of interesting to remember that the whites did, indirectly through Loubert & Hirsch, have this whole mainstream connection to all these kids' shows.

Whoa! Nelvana oneshot in 3.5 condition sold for $10,456

IMO at least as impressive (though less out of the blue) than the 6.5 top census @ 13,750 at clink a couple years back

Having to pay $10K and change ISN'T winning it. The winner is the lucky seller.

But, glad you got a book you must have really wanted!

Read further down my post............ :jokealert::roflmao:

You make it sound like you were shocked by the result; I think a good result had to be expected? This exceeded my expectations but there was zero chance it was ever going to sell for 2k or something

Beautiful copy

Might have been 7.0 if it hadn't been flapping around the trunk of that car (:

:insane:

S'okay. Just do the math on what the multiple was between what you paid and what the buyer paid :o
