My Pet Monster was one of the many shows Nelvana (animation co named after the whites heroine and established by Hirsch/Loubert who bought the Bell archive) produced. Lame connection? Yes. But, its kind of interesting to remember that the whites did, indirectly through Loubert & Hirsch, have this whole mainstream connection to all these kids' shows. You make it sound like you were shocked by the result; I think a good result had to be expected?
