My wife and I have been actively trying to buy Canadian comics for a couple of years. We mostly have DC superhero stuff that was published in Canada in the late 40s, but this is one of our more oddball items: Sheena # 1 (actually the cover and interior for Sheena # 5). I have not seen another one. Does anyone here have one?

I got this rather roughed-up copy of Cowboy Trails #31 from Elhil Publishing, which it turns out according to GCD is the Canadian edition of Atlas' Annie Oakley #1. I couldn't find any copies listed on eBay and since, as discussed much earlier in this thread, Overstreet doesn't cover editions from outside the US, I'm having trouble estimating its value. Can anyone here offer any thoughts on the matter?

Still sorting through my recent acquisition, and coming across all kinds of Canadian reprint books. I find it interesting to see the different variations of reprinted material. Base on Canadian population in the 40's-50's I can only imagine how scarce many of these books are.

Here are some interesting ones I have come across:

Crime Reporter #2 Matt Baker :cloud9:

Brenda Star #7 SPCA issue?

Human Torch #35

I have a Dime Comics # 10 on the way that is missing two centre wraps (pages 29-36). I don't suppose that anyone here has a wrecked copy that has the pages I am missing? I figured I would have better luck here than on one of the "I want to get married" threads. Any help or leads will be appreciated.

Here's the one in question:

It's quite telling that the Triumph Adventure # 1 is the highest graded (and only) copy in the census, whereas there are over 60 copies of Action Comics # 1. It really demonstrates just how few of these early Canadian Whites are still out there and how much of a treat it is to see such an important book on the forums.
