I’ll be honest, back in the 90s that Wonder Man series was one of my guilty pleasure reads. I’ll have to see if it still holds up.

I do understand that value can make something worse. 

For instance, this cover is far worse because of its value. The fact that it goes for so much is amazing and pathetic all at the same time.

The chain of miniature skulls makes practical sense as his other bandolier has only 7 rounds (I think those are shells, but I don't know why they have brass on either end.  Must be some futuristic special ammunition)
